Idioms i Find amusing/ Idiom poem

A blessing in disguise
a dime a dozen
a slap on the wrist
a toss-up

________________________________

He was a blessing in disguise,
a dime a dozen,
he was always against the clock,
and would give an arm and a leg for his love.

i know i shouldn't beat a dead horse,
but his whole life was a toss-up,
he would bend over backwards,
but never bite his tounge,

with blood thicker than water,
he was a dead ringer to a god,
i know this seems like a cock and bull story,
but boy was he a doozy!

  1. Awesome, Paige! I like how you used one interesting expression per line. And I totally get this guy you're describing!
